Making the Invisible Past Visible
A summary of the session on “invisible history” at the National Council on Public History’s annual meeting is now available online, with links to supplementary information from the other presenters.
Glenn W. Gentry spoke about ghost tours; Christine Kreyling explored “Unbuilt Nashville” – architectural plans that were proposed but never built; and Nate Jones from the National Security Archive talked about using the Freedom of Information Act to uncover government secrecy – legally. I opened the session by speaking about my research journey with Milliken’s Bend.
